Around the World in Eighty Days.

By Jules Verne.

Synopsis:
Phileas Fogg, an English gentleman of somewhat fixed habits, makes a bet that he can travel around the world in eighty days. He then attempts to do so.

Review:
I liked this. Phileas Fogg, despite having been created with no personality, manages to be quite likeable. Passepartout, despite being a manservant in a Jules Verne novel, manages not to be annoying. Aouda, despite being a woman in a 19th century work of fiction, manages to kick a reasonable amount of arse. The settings are pretty, the pace is kept up throughout, the elephant is cute. What else do you need?
