Scary Movie 2.

Crap.

It wasn't too bad - there were some good moments - but, overall, I'm afraid it was crap.

I shouldn't watch these movies, I really shouldn't, I never like them...

The door knocker, I liked. I want one. The parrot was quite amusing, but I'd just like to state for the record that birds don't really have much by the way of external genitalia, which kinda invalidated much of it's dialogue.

The trailer was funny. It used (just about) all the good bits, and as it was quite short, you didn't end up sitting there for five minutes getting bored out of your skull for what should have been a five-second sight-gag.

And if the humour did happen to leave you cold, you couldn't even enjoy it as a story - the plot, such as it was, made little sense, had no continuity to speak of, and was severely disjointed. The deleted scenes (an extra on the DVD) filled in a few of the gaps, but not enough to create a comprehensible storyline. The deleted scenes were good. I reckon they should have kept most of them.

The majority of the humour derived directly from digust at physical deformities. I thought Hanson's little hand was kinda cute. Although, to be fair, Tim Curry's (forgotton character's name. Sorry) huge nipples were a little frightening.

The guy who plays the stoner with the afro (again with the name forgetting. I should probably look them up or something) must have either no shame or a really crap agent - I have yet to see him in anything remotely good.

The beginning (a take on the Exorcist) was probably the best bit of the movie. Although it did leave one pining for Repossessed.

I'm going to stop trying to think of nice things to say, now...
